CEO

Inés Jiménez Palomar, originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, is an engineer and entrepreneur dedicated to transforming healthcare through science. After completing her Master’s and PhD at Queen Mary University of London, she returned to Mexico in 2013 to found inMateriis, a company focused on developing medical devices and technologies with high social impact, particularly in 3D printing for healthcare.

With inMateriis, Inés has led the development of patient-specific implants, prosthetics, and innovative biomaterials, always under rigorous regulatory frameworks. Her experience expands beyond product design and manufacturing to navigating clinical protocols in Latin America (Mexico) —contexts that differ from the U.S. system. This has given her a unique perspective on how medical devices reach patients, balancing innovation, regulatory compliance, and accessibility.

Through her leadership, inMateriis has translated scientific advances into real-world solutions, improving quality of life for patients while pioneering clinical and regulatory pathways for emerging medical technologies outside the United States.
